At Level 1 Fitness, we like to keep your training very simple. There are too many people trying to make too many changes all at once. The end result is people workout for a few weeks, maybe two months tops. Totally overwhelmed, they decide to quit. Eventually get motivated to start again only to quit again a couple weeks later.

Are you really ready? Read that again and let it soak in for as long as you need. This is the most crucial step to get right so take as much time as you need.

You must be “All-in” on making small changes over a long period of time. All we will ask of you is to pick 1 or 2 goals to work on per month. For how long? Do yourself a huge favor and give yourself at least a year, minimum. Transformations don’t happen overnight. Mindset is everything. Own what owns you. Trust the process.

About Us

Owner/Operator: Kyle Perry

Kyle has worked as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer in Southern Maine for the past 12 years after graduating from The University of Maine with a degree in Exercise Science.

He has worked with clients that range from beginners to experts as well as youth athletes looking to take their training to the next level.

If you’re looking for help with building muscle, weight loss, or toning look no further. Kyle specializes in individual program design and can modify any exercise to your specific needs.

I’ve worked with Kyle as a personal trainer for a number of years with a goal of weight loss and overall improved fitness. What we’ve accomplished since Mid-January is to go from 268 to 178 lbs — 46 waist to 35.5 —- I couldn’t be happier!!

 

Kyles approach to training is tailoring programs to your individual goals, strengths and weaknesses. We’ve been using video sessions since April and frankly I prefer the individual attention and lack of distractions of gyms.

What worked for me is consistent workouts, I do every other day with Kyle and on the off days do additional cardio. At one point this Spring I worked out 100 straight days —- “there is no other answer but put in the work” Nutrition — Eat smart, lot’s of veggies — Low carb & Diary — No processed prepared foods — stay away from high fructose “It’s poison” Fad diets are not sustainable.

I’m a 68 year old woman with osteoporosis who never thought I’d get into an exercise group, but now it’s been over three years that I’ve been working with Kyle! I’m more alert and generally feel better. My bone density has increased as well as my balance and flexibility. Also my so called “dowager’s hump”, that rounded upper back so common in us older women with osteo, is lessening as my posture and core strengthens. Kyle is excellent about respecting my limits when something is initially too hard for me, then finding ways to work up to it in gradual steps. I’m now in a group of 8 and have made some new friends and working in these small group classes makes personal training much more affordable and keeps me motivated. Kyle is professional, knowledgeable, and delightful to work with. He provides a well rounded program for each of us in the group which is adapted to our personal levels. While he has plenty of great equipment at his place, he has also taught us many things I can do at home without specialized equipment.
